GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – L'atelier Chêne & Fer
Article 1 – Seller’s details

Article 2 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all sales concluded between L'atelier Chêne & Fer and its customers via the website. Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Article 3 – Products
Chêne & Fer offers handcrafted wooden and metal creations, made by hand in our workshop. Each piece is unique. The product photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible, but slight variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our creations.
Article 4 – Prices
Prices are quoted in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC). Atelier Chêne & Fer reserves the right to amend its prices at any time, on the understanding that the applicable price is that in force at the time the order is confirmed.
Article 5 – Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of ordering. The accepted payment methods are those offered when confirming the shopping basket. All transactions are secure.
Article 6 – Orders and Production
Orders are confirmed by email once payment has been verified. Production lead times are as follows:
Products in stock: dispatched within 2 to 5 working days
Made-to-order products: 1 to 2 weeks
Personalised orders: lead time provided upon order confirmation
The total delivery time will not exceed 7 working days from the date of dispatch for products in stock.
Article 7 – Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason.
⚠️ Important exception: In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to order or personalised to the customer’s specifications. This exception will be clearly stated on the relevant product page.

Article 8 – Statutory Guarantees
All our products are covered by:
The statutory guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code)
The statutory guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code)
Article 9 – Liability
Chêne & Fer cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from misuse of the product or from circumstances beyond its control.
Article 10 – Settlement of disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution shall be sought as a matter of priority. The customer may also seek recourse to consumer mediation. The competent mediator is: CM2C – Centre de Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 14 rue Saint-Jean – 75017 Paris, www.cm2c.net
Article 11 – Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
