Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale of products by L'atelier Chêne & Fer via the website atelier-chene-et-fer.com. Any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.
Article 2 – Products
The products offered are handmade wooden and metal items, crafted by hand. Photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible, but slight variations may exist due to the artisanal nature of the pieces.
Article 3 – Price
Prices are indicated in euros (€) including all taxes (TTC). L'atelier Chêne & Fer reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the applicable price is the one in force at the time the order is confirmed.
Article 4 – Order
The order is validated after payment confirmation. A confirmation email is sent to the address provided by the customer. L'atelier Chêne & Fer reserves the right to cancel any order in case of availability or payment issues.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Payments are secured via Shopify Payments. Banking data is not retained by L'atelier Chêne & Fer.
Article 6 – Delivery
Orders are dispatched within 3 to 7 working days after payment confirmation. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the chosen carrier. In case of delay attributable to the carrier, L'atelier Chêne & Fer cannot be held responsible.
Article 7 – Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons. To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision via our withdrawal form.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The refund will be made within 14 days following the receipt of the returned item.
Article 8 – Warranties
Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Article 9 – Personal Data
Data collected during the order is used solely for its processing. In accordance with the GDPR, the customer has a right of access, rectification, and deletion of their data. To exercise these rights: GDPR request form.
Article 10 – Mediation
In case of a dispute not resolved amicably, the customer can resort free of charge to the consumer mediator:

Article 11 – Applicable Law
These GTC are subject to French law. In case of dispute, only French courts will be competent.
